Enough talking about ourselves. While we consider ourselves one of the best family resorts in Orlando, it only matters if our guests agree. If you’re planning a visit to Rosen Inn on Orlando’s International Drive, we invite you to see us through the eyes of your fellow travelers by reading the hotel reviews below.

Usually stay onsite at Universal Orlando, but thought I would try this location out and was so pleased I did. Location is fantastic, the staff are very friendly, the rooms are very well equipped and the price is great! Couldn't ask for anything more.

Loved this hotel, staff so helpful, room cleaned and beds made every day. Transfer bus to universal Orlando parks, great pool area, hotel clean. A shop with essentials in it.
You get coffee maker, fridge and microwave you need to buy cutlery, plates and bowls, safe is free of charge, will definitely stay here again.

We stayed 11 nights in March. The location of this hotel was fantastic with easy access to restaurants. Room was spacious with plenty of TV channels and free Wi-Fi. Don at registration is a credit to the company — he was helpful and gave useful information. We were pleased to get the top floor with amazing Volcano Bay views. Housekeeping staff were friendly, always saying hello and doing a fantastic job cleaning the room each day.

Having been to the Rosen Inn closest to Universal about 12 times over the years since 1997, this shows how happy we are with the hotel. The staff at the Rosen Inn are as helpful as you could wish for, from the reception staff to the cleaners of the rooms. There is 24-hour security staff at the entrance to the property, which gives assurance that the site is safe. There is an on-site restaurant for breakfast available, and the staff is always available to aid. The breakfast charge is $13.00 + tax for all-you-can-eat buffet, but note that despite me just having a coffee and single bowl of cereal, we were still charged the standard rate, which we felt was a bit excessive, so we ate out the rest of the holiday. The pool area was very clean and was cleaned on a regular basis, and also, there were towels available at the pool. There is an international bar within the hotel, which was open only on Thursday to Saturday whilst we were there but was very welcoming and the staff very pleasant. Over the years, we did not visit here until this year and so glad we did as it was great to unwind at the end of the day. There is a Shogun Japanese restaurant and a sushi bar at the hotel, but we never took advantage of these as its not to our personal tastes. The rooms are a great place to simply rest your head with all the usual amenities as well as a fridge to keep drinks cool. The hotel in all fairness could do with a spruce up or modernization as we think the last time it was really renovated was in 2010 when we had to use the Rosen Inn International as this one was closed. The Wi-Fi at the hotel was very good in fairness, and we had no issue with connection at any time. This is likely to be sadly the last time we will be visiting the US for a good while as our children have grown up and the lure of the parks is passed, but should we ever return, I would be definitely visiting this hotel as we have for the past thirty years. Many thanks to the Rosen for looking after us for all these years.

Just returned from a two-week stay at this hotel, and whilst I will say it’s not 5 stars, I found it excellent. First, it is a gated hotel with barriers to prevent any outsider from coming in. There is no charge for parking and plenty of parking space. There is also no resort fee, so the price you see is the price you pay. Although we arrived late as our plane was late coming in from London, and the line for car hire with Avis was over a two-hour wait, check-in was fine. Our requested high-floor room was fulfilled. Room was clean with a coffee maker, microwave, and small fridge. Room was cleaned and bedding and towels were changed daily with all amenities replaced. Downside is the bathroom was a bit small, but I could put up with that. It was a two-minute walk to the I-Drive Trolley, which was great; never a long wait, and you could visit two shopping malls with it. All in all, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would return again.

As we arrived at Rosen Inn, we instantly felt like we were “home.” We walked through to reception and were welcomed and checked into our room within minutes. Our room is spacious, had all the amenities required including coffee machine, iron, air conditioning, fridge and plentiful storage. The rooms are absolutely spotless and are maintained to a high standard. This is our 4th stay at Rosen Inn and we wouldn’t choose another hotel. We were very grateful that we got to wish Joan a happy retirement after many years of incredible service. Thank you for everything Joan. Hotel amenities: Breakfast - this is a self-service buffet style breakfast. The selection is incredible, and the quality of the food is amazing. You must try the pancakes and French toast! Highly recommend! Pool area - again this area is spotless with lots of sun loungers and tables available. Shop - fantastic selection from all essentials, food, drinks and delicious hot food (pizzas are recommended!). Shogun and sushi - Wow! What incredible food, show and service. You really need to try this. Laundry - machines are available along with dryers. These are invaluable if you are travelling light. We use these throughout our stay and before returning home. I cannot thank all of the staff enough, from reception, housekeeping and security. Each individual has made our stay perfect. Every time we have returned back to our room, we’ve had fresh coffee, towels and everything has been absolutely pristine. Thank you again so much. It’s really like home away from home.

It was my first visit to this location. After working in the hotel industry for 30 years, I have gotten to know all the teamwork required to make a hotel successful. We were greeted and checked in by Chantal, and her disposition to welcome and help us was remarkable. We had just arrived from another hotel where there was no elevator and were assigned a room on the third floor, so coming to the Rosen Inn and being greeted with such hospitality and given a spacious guest room on the first floor was just fantastic. We found the beds to be very comfortable; the room was pristine and cleaned. Had a pool view that was extremely enjoyable. The hotel has a nice place for breakfast, a bar, an arcade, and a nice convenience store with food, beverages, over the counter medicine, and souvenirs. Plenty of free parking and no resort fee, which makes this hotel a great place to consider when staying in the area. Grounds are neatly kept, and we saw security around and at the gate, which gave a sense of a safe place. We were thrilled by the charming and genuine attitude of Chantal!

Many Thanks to Don for a great check-in experience! Excellent location for Universal Studios. Great rooms with a kind and helpful staff make this an excellent choice for the price. I have been coming to the Rosen Inn Closest to Universal for a few years now and it has always delivered on value.

We were so pleasantly surprised by this hotel! Since it was so reasonably priced, I honestly expected it to be rundown, but it wasn’t! The beds were so comfy! Linens were lovely. The room was exceptionally clean! Staff was very friendly. Jasmine checked us in and was so kind and helpful — we were able to check in early, which is a great perk (if they have rooms available).

This will be an honest review so people can read and know exactly what to expect. We changed hotels to this one, Rosen Inn Closest to Universal, after booking into the Ramada Plaza. I am so glad we changed. Check-in was smooth and efficient. We got the room we wanted after emailing around a month before to say what floor we wanted, etc. The room was clean and comfortable. We were on the ninth floor, and this was quiet and had a nice view. The bed was a super king and comfortable, and all sheets and pillows were clean and had protective covers on them. The coffee maker was great, and the TV worked great. The cleaners were friendly and cleaned the room whenever you wanted. Nothing was too much trouble, so they need to be thanked and told well done by management. Everybody in this hotel was friendly from check-in staff, restaurant staff, and security. The pool was clean and adequate; sunbeds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. The only thing I would say is maybe there should be a little more variety in having beans, tomatoes, and mushrooms every day. Two or three types of potatoes every day gets kind of monotonous, but all in all, there was fruit that was fresh and delicious. The pastries were fresh and tasty. Would I come back again? Yes, without hesitation. No resort or parking fees. There is a $50.00 deposit, but that gets paid back after you have left. Lovely stay that was comfortable with a bar and games room too and 24-hour security. We felt safe and enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

What a fab team and a great location. Don was excellent at check-in and check-out. Everything was clean and well taken care of, and the housekeeping staff were so lovely as well as being great at their jobs! I-Trolly stops right outside, and they have a free shuttle bus to Universal daily! They also have laundry facilities and a nice-looking pool (too cold when we were there, but it looked nicely maintained). Would definitely return and recommend.

Amazing location and great little hotel. It is on the older side, but our room was cleaned every day (thank you to the lovely cleaning team). Breakfast buffet was fabulous and set us up every day. The staff were lovely and as soon as we sat down came over with a hot cup of coffee and tea for us. Always friendly and happy, thank you! We will definitely be back as the closeness to Universal is perfect and there are also loads to do and plenty of restaurants on International Drive. We also used the pool, which was heated, lovely and clean. Just perfect!

Don assured me I was able to change floors and get a pool view. I expressed I do like the heated pool feature and the fact that the pool is 9 feet deep, which is a rarity among so many hotels that are barely 5 feet.
