Dua Lipa the Future Nostalgia Tour

Dua Lipa the Future Nostalgia Tour

The pop sensation Dua Lipa is making an appearance at the Amway Center on February 11, 2022, for her Future Nostalgia Tour.

Early Life

Dua Lipa was born in London and her music influence came from her father who was the lead singer of a rock band named Oda.

She began singing at the age of 9 in her school choir where her teacher told her she can’t sing. That teacher was dead wrong. Eventually, Dua and her family moved to Pristina and that was where she decided to pursue music as a career. At the age of 15, she moved back to London, and she began to upload her own songs to SoundCloud and YouTube.

Dua Lipa became a model with an agency which, crazy enough, consequently led to a singing part in a commercial that helped open the door to her music career.

Dua Lipa is Born

In 2013, Dua Lipa signed her first music contract with Tap Management.

During her time with the record label, she co-wrote the song “Hotter than Hell.” That song resulted in her signing with Warner Bros. Records in 2014. Little did the record company know that Dua Lipa was the big female pop artist that they were looking for. The next year in 2015, she released her two singles: “New Love” and “Be the one.”

The single “Be the one” topped the charts in Europe. It was her first successful hit. All the singles she released after that were hits, specifically in the UK. Her first US hit was the song “Blow Your Mind.” It debuted at number 71 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number 23 on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40.

Dua Lipa’s rise to fame has seen her in a variety of roles.

She’s been on the cover of a variety of magazines. She signed with Next Models. Dua is a global ambassador for Foot Locker. She’s also the face of a Yves Saint Laurent perfume. Dua also released a limited-edition lip gloss line with MAC Cosmetics.

Future Nostalgia Tour

Future Nostalgia, Dua Lipa’s second album, gained publicity from its lead single “Don’t Start Now.”

The single hit number two on the UK Singles Chart and the US Billboard Hot 100. The album hit number one on the Official UK Albums Charts. Because of these rankings, Lipa became the first female British artist to have three top ten singles in a year. Soon after she released a new single called “Levitating,” which Madonna and Missy Elliot remixed. The album Future Nostalgia became the most streamed album by a woman on Spotify in the year 2020.

Experience the new pop sensation Dua Lipa Future Nostalgia Tour at the Amway Center on Friday, February 11, 2022, at 7 p.m. Get tickets early because the show is expected to sell out.
