Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival

Get Your Wine On!

epcotEpcot® International Food & Wine Festival, one of Epcot’s most exciting and popular annual events, is here! From now until November 14, you can enjoy delectable treats and savory wines from all around the world—right in one place. From culinary classes to the famous global marketplaces, there’s something for everyone here. Since the Food and Wine Festival is such a hit, you can expect large crowds at Epcot from now until November. If you plan on attending this exciting event, here are some tips to help make the most of your trip.

  1. Read up on it. Don’t go into the festival blind. There are so many food options, it can be overwhelming. Check out Disney’s website for a full menu of all the items available, and make a game plan of what you want to try. It will save you a lot of time.
  2. Map it out. Know where all the locations you want to check out are, and where the closest location with A/C is because it’ll likely still feel like summer. Most guests move clockwise around the world of Epcot, so to fight the crowds go against the grain. If you have the places that you want to visit mapped out, you can find the most efficient and clear path to get there without struggle.
  3. Pick the perfect time. Like any Disney park or attraction, the Food and Wine Fest can get especially busy on weekends. It’s smart to plan to go on earlier in the day on a weekday. If you want to skip the lines and crowd, the earlier you go, the better.
  4. Don’t pack it all in one day. If you’re taking the time to try out the festival, you want to enjoy yourself. Trying to pack everything into one day will take away from the experience. You don’t want to worry if you will make it to the next event or not. So give yourself plenty of time and spread out your time at the festival over two or three days. Your time there will be much more enjoyable.

One of the most important things when planning your trip to the Food and Wine Festival is to have a safe and comfortable place to rest after your adventure is done.
