As good as ever.
It is difficult to think of something that I haven’t already said about this Rosen hotel. It is incredible value for money, and the staff are great. It is nice to see so many familiar faces each time we come. They have a good shop, so if you have forgotten anything, you can usually find it there. The fitness suite is as good as any I have used, and is well maintained. We still have not used the Shogun Japanese restaurant, but I’m determined to do so one day, as the smells wafting around outside are delicious. The bar area is good too, with a large seating area outside. We were put in the West Block for the first time, and it is fine. The room seemed slightly smaller than in the main tower block, but one thing we preferred was that there were sliding doors to shut off the wash basin area for privacy. All the usual suspects were in the Palms restaurant, providing their customary excellent service, so a big shout out as always to Joan, Luiz and Margaret.
We stayed here for 1 week. The position is perfect for Universal Studios, and the International Drive area. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff were always helpful and friendly. The hotel does a regular free bus service to Universal Studios, but if you want to you can walk in about 30 minutes. For shopping, there are I-Ride stops directly outside the hotel, and places that sell the tickets are within a few minutes walk. We really enjoyed our stay here and we will certainly be returning.
