Rosen Inn, closest hotel to Universal, joined the Rosen Family in 1975 just a year before Universal Orlando® Resort opened Jaws®, its biggest attraction during that time. When the hotel opened it had 251 guestrooms and was named the Rodeway Inn. An expansion in 1979 brought the number of guestrooms to 315.
