Check out some of the annual Walt Disney World festival’s highlights below.

Experience Holiday Traditions from Around the World

As you make your way around the World Showcase, you’ll see holiday traditions come to life.

EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays Guests Laughing

Enjoy a streetside concert in Mexico as the mariachi band plays local Christmas tunes. Then visit with Julenissen, a mischievous gnome in Norway. In the U.K., meet Father Christmas as he shares local holiday traditions and celebrate the New Year with talented dragon dancers in the China Pavilion.

Stop by the America pavilion to hear the stories of Hanukkah and Kwanzaa, and enjoy a meet-and-greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Tasty Treats at Holiday Kitchens

Just like at other EPCOT festivals, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays features pop-up kitchens with unique dishes and drinks from around the world.

This event’s menus focus on the foods traditionally served at Christmas, Hannukah, and New Year’s celebrations around the world. Whether you’re looking for something sweet or savory, adventurous or comforting, you’re sure to find it here. Plus, you’ll enjoy delicious seasonal desserts and entrées at Epcot’s restaurants.

Last year’s food and drink options included:

  • Kālua pork (Hawaii)
  • New Year’s soba noodles (Japan)

Evening Candlelight Processional

Once the sun goes down, enjoy a beautiful candlelight processional.

A celebrity guest will read the biblical tale of Christmas and you’ll enjoy traditional carols sung by a choir and accompanied by an orchestra. Past guests have included Whoopi Goldberg, Neil Patrick Harris, Kurt Russell, and Orlando native Joey Fatone

Check Disney’s website for the latest information on this annual EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays tradition. You’ll also find details on dining packages that come with guaranteed seating at the show.
