In preparation for Spring Break, we’re summing up exactly what sets us apart from other area hotels and laying down the facts. If you’re considering Rosen Inn, you know value, comfort, and convenience of location are all a shoo-in.
1.When Harris Rosen purchase the Rosen Inn, it was named International Inn and only had 251 guestrooms. A building expansion in 1979 brought Rosen Inn to 315 guestrooms.
2. Want to enjoy a great dinner and drinks? Our new Shogun Sakura Sushi bar, located next to the International Pub, serves freshly made sushi. The two places combined hosts TWO happy hours: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Shogun Sakura and 10 p.m. to close at International Pub.
3. No need to travel far from the hotel for late night snacks and emergency needs. Our Lite Bite Mini-Market & Deli is open 24/7. Purchase can be made at the front desk after midnight.
4. Spring break in Orlando should include a trip to a theme park. At Rosen Inn, you can drive the 2-mile distance to Universal Orlando® Resort in less than 10 minutes or you can walk the paved way in just over 30 min, that is, if you haven’t already booked a seat on our complimentary shuttle service to the theme park.
5.During Spring Break, sleep is for the weak. However, did you know Rosen Inn features Simmons Beautyrest® pillow top mattresses? After a long day of fun at the theme parks, it’s hard to resist our comfy and cozy beds to recoup from the fun-filled day.
International Drive hosts a wealth of activities that alone or combined create perfect dates and adventures for any taste and any day of the year—regardless if you’re spending a romantic evening with your sweetheart or hanging out with your friends.
The way to some people’s hearts is through the gift of a delicious meal. International Drive is home to many restaurants including some of Rosen’s own culinary delights. Rosen Plaza’s Jack’s Place and Rosen Centre’s The Everglades are two of our fine-dining restaurants serving incredible dishes like our prime New York strip steak and broiled Florida grouper. Our sister property Rosen Shingle Creek, located minutes away on Universal Boulevard, is home to A Land Remembered and Cala Bella—both proudly hold Four Diamond status. If you’re looking for something a bit more family friendly, Shogun Japanese Steakhouse makes it’s happy home right here at Rosen Inn.
What about memorable activities and adventures? Share a romantic sunset view of Orlando from the Orlando Eye at IDrive 360 where you can let your love soar 400 feet high as you spot all the local theme parks, Downtown Orlando, and beyond. Maybe your romance involves a little friendly competition, which goes well with mini-golf at one of many locations along International Drive. There’s also bowling at Kings Orlando, a retro bowling alley.
What if you’re with friends and not out on a date? Group activities are abundant around our hotel. Challenge friends to a friendly battle at Hard Knocks—laser tag at its finest. Or save the world at Mindquest Live. Once the sun sets, assemble the squad at Club 39 at Rosen Plaza to dance the night away.

To all lovely couples and awesome single people, we wish you a happy Valentine’s Day!
Each New Year, we resolve to improve by adopting a healthier lifestyle, but sometimes our best intentions are hard to keep while on vacation. This year, don’t let vacation be the excuse that lets you slide on improving your body, mind, and spirit. Keep your fitness resolution by sticking to these helpful tips.
Our property is less than a five minute drive from Universal Orlando® Resort, but why drive when you can walk? Sidewalks and crosswalks connect you to the theme parks and keeps your family safe from bustling traffic. The walk takes about 15 to 20 minutes.
Don’t forget your favorite wearable fitness tracker while visiting the parks. The latest editions of iPhone and Android have fitness tracking software, so keep your smartphone on you. By tracking your steps and calories burned, you’ll have a better understanding of your fitness levels on a daily basis.
Is a relaxing day at the hotel in store for you? Check out our 24-hour fitness center to meet your recommended 30 to 60 minutes of daily exercise. Swimming is also, without doubt, an effective way to burn calories. Swimming in our seasonally-heated swimming pool will relax joints and muscles worn out from high-impact theme park activities and still is an effective form of fitness training.
At Rosen Inn, we care about your health and want your resolutions to be successful.
Cheers to your health!
Kon’nichiwa! (Hello!) Do you and your family crave a little more than the average sit-down dining experience? Shogun Japanese Steakhouse, located in our hotel, brings much more than a meal to the table. It is not uncommon for our guests and visitors to leave with a new favorite hot-spot, or shall we say, “hot-teppan,” a word play on the teppanyaki cooking method used by our Shogun chefs. Be astounded as they display an entertaining show of flips and tricks with a little side of humor while cooking for you and your family. Shogun Japanese Steakhouse is perfect for group dinners and gatherings as well. Give our specialty yum-yum sauce a taste and let our chefs serve a dinner to remember. We look forward to welcoming you and your family to dinner. Coming soon: Shogun will have a new sushi and sake bar!
