By Kate Cohen
February 9, 2026
Being a resident Floridian has its perks.
The beautiful winter weather, the lush wildlife, hundreds of miles of extraordinary coastline...
...and a variety of Florida resident discounts at some of the world’s biggest theme parks and attractions.

Often, people who call The Sunshine State home can access perks and exclusive deals year-round at destinations like Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort, and SeaWorld Orlando.
If you’re a fellow Floridian (howdy, neighbor!) with a valid Florida driver’s license or state ID, here’s how you can find some of the best Orlando, Florida resident theme park discounts.
Key Takeaways
Theme Park Discounts
Walt Disney World Resort

Did you know that Walt Disney World Resort sometimes offers seasonal discounts on park tickets for Florida residents? If not, then you must read on.
For 2026, the Discover Disney Ticket package allows Florida residents to purchase a 4-day park ticket for just $64 per day, plus tax, or a 3-day park ticket for only $79 per day, plus tax. Single day Florida resident tickets start at $119 each, so this promotion can save you up to $55 a day.
The fine print is that you’ll need to use all four day passes by May 16, 2026 (though they don’t have to be used consecutively), and you’ll need to make a reservation at your theme park of choice on the day you wish to attend.
Offers like the Discover Disney Tickets pop up throughout the year, particularly at off-peak times, so be sure to check Disney’s website for their latest offers.
Another option Florida residents have at Walt Disney World is an annual pass. Currently, Disney has four tiers of annual passes, three of which are eligible only to Florida residents.
Disney passes are a great option for frequent theme park-goers. After paying a downpayment of $205, you can break up the rest of the cost into monthly payments ranging from about $26 per month to $127 per month, depending on which option you choose.
As an annual passholder, you’ll also get perks like free parking, discounts on dining and merchandise, and the ability to hold multiple reservations on a rolling basis.
The biggest difference between the annual pass levels is blockout dates. For example, the cheapest tier, the Pixie Dust Pass, only allows passholders to visit on weekdays (and even those can be blocked out during high traffic times of the year).
Other pro tips for Florida residents looking to visit Disney include trying to aim for off-peak visits (think January, February, late April, early May, and September). Also, you can save a little extra by purchasing multi-day tickets.
Universal Orlando Resort

Universal Orlando also offers plenty of incentives for Florida natives to experience the magic of their three theme parks and an impressive water park.
There are two kinds of passes offered by Universal Orlando: seasonal and annual. The biggest difference is the amount of blockout dates.
Seasonal passes have significantly more blockout dates, usually during peak park times like the summer and holidays. Annual passes like the Power, Preferred, and Premier, have progressively fewer block outs.
Passes are also available as 2-park or 3-park passes, giving you access to Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, and the optional Volcano Bay water park. The brand-new Epic Universe is not included in seasonal or annual passes at this time.
Universal offers great discounted pricing on their passes for Florida residents, saving you up to $100. For example, a 2-park seasonal pass costs a Florida resident $325, but if you live outside The Sunshine State, you’ll pay $425.
They also run promotions throughout the year to further incentivize buying an annual pass, including tagging on free months and offering discounted rates on special events like Halloween Horror Nights.
Deals on parking, merch, food, and even single-day tickets to Epic Universe are also perks of being a Universal passholder.
Don’t want to commit to being a full-fledged passholder? There are usually other multi-day ticket promos offered for Florida residents. Check the Universal Orlando resort website to see what’s currently being offered.
SeaWorld Orlando & Aquatica

SeaWorld Orlando is almost always offering discounts on their annual passes, but you don’t have to be a Florida resident to take advantage of them.
The exception to the rule is the various promotions they’ve been known to offer. For example, free annual passes for Florida preschoolers and Florida teachers. Registration for this exclusive offer is only available for a limited time, and you’ll need to apply ahead of your visit.
Similar to Disney and Universal, SeaWorld Orlando has multiple tiers of annual passes that come with a variety of progressive discounts and benefits like free parking. Some of their passes, however, include perks like free guest tickets and animal encounters.
SeaWorld Orlando also sells the Fun Card, which, similar to an annual pass, offers unlimited visits. However, while cheaper upfront, the Fun Card comes with a slew of block out dates and lacks money-saving perks like free parking and discounts on food and merch.
All of SeaWorld Orlando’s annual passes can be purchased for admission to just SeaWorld Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica, or all four of SeaWorld’s Florida parks: SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, and Adventure Island in Tampa.
So, even though SeaWorld doesn’t offer a huge array of Florida resident-specific discounts, you can still plan a visit at a great price regardless.
Attractions Beyond the Big Parks
Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld aren’t the only attractions offering Florida resident discounts.
Here are a few other destinations incentivizing Floridians to come out and play.

Located on International Drive, ICON Park is recognizable by its towering observation wheel, The Orlando Eye.
