Postmodern Jukebox is a unique band known for its clever way of turning today’s pop hits into vintage music.
The band started in a basement in Astoria, New York, and struggled for years. In 2012, the band covered the song “Thrift Shop” by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. The cover got over one million views in its first week, four million views within its first year, and reached number eight on the Billboard magazine jazz album chart. As the band grew more popular, they covered songs such as “We Can’t Stop,” “Blurred Lines,” and “Royals.”

Giuseppe Verdi’s Rigoletto

As Opera Orlando closes for its Verdi season, its last show is Rigoletto.
The performance tells the story of Duke Mantua liking one of his servant’s daughters and how her father will do anything to have his revenge on the duke. The show will be in Italian with English supertitles and have members from the Opera Orlando Chorus and Orlando Ballet dancers.

The Piano Guys is a musical group that grew in popularity from its instrumental music videos and unique locations.
