Theme parks definitely highlight any visit to Central Florida. The first time you walk into a theme park, all you probably want to do (and only have time to do) is ride the rides. After you’ve tackled the roller coasters and other thrill rides, is it worth visiting the parks again? Yes it is! Theme parks are usually packed with hidden treasures easily missed during first visits.
If you’re looking for fresh thrills for your second (or third) trip to the parks, here are a couple of ideas for your return visit.
See the shows. This includes stages shows, street shows, and parades. Some theme parks have a nightly fireworks display or sendoff shows that you might have overlooked or missed during the first visit.
Stage ride photos. Rides tend to take photos on big drops. Plan a pose for a hilarious group photo. Search for funny photo ideas online. However, use good judgement and keep it clean. Offensive photos are often not made available for purchase.
Participate in scavenger hunts. Some parks have their own scavenger hunts; some are created by theme park enthusiasts and posted online. Hint: Universal Studios® has a Minions Scavenger Hunt.
Interact with characters. Characters at the parks will usually play along with you. (Just be nice and keep it classy for the children.) Silly poses with superheroes and famous characters make for the most memorable pictures.
Check out the bloggers online who discuss where to find each theme park’s hidden treasures and what other fun activities exist for you to enjoy. We hope this blog helps sparks some ideas and research. Now get out there and make some great memories!
